When you sign up for Click Hired, we ask for your email address, full name, and career information. Your career information includes job titles, companies, employment dates, and professional highlights or achievements you've had.
As you use Click Hired, we collect additional information like the resumes you create (both versions your original resume and AI-generated versions we create), records of the job applications you've made through our platform, and any logos or materials you upload to your profile.
When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect payment information through Stripe, including your billing address and payment method type. We don't directly store your full credit card number—Stripe handles that securely on their own systems.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics tools, or any automatic tracking on our website. We don't follow you around the web or collect information about your browsing habits.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to run Click Hired and deliver the service to you. Specifically, we use it to create and manage your account, generate personalized resumes using AI, process your payments, send you important emails about your account or subscription, and comply with applicable laws.
To generate the best resumes for you, we analyze your career information with artificial intelligence. We do this processing on our own systems.
We don't use your data to train the AI models they just process your request and return results. a.
If you don't want your data sent to our AI, you can opt out by contacting us. Just know that this may limit some of the resume generation features available to you.
How Your Data Is Stored and Protected
We keep your account information, resumes, and application records for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we immediately and permanently delete all your data from our systems your profile, resumes, career history, and applications all disappear right away. The only exception is Stripe's records of your transactions, which they keep according to their own legal and financial compliance requirements.
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures. We encrypt your data when it's being sent to us (using TLS/SSL), we authenticate users with passwords, and we restrict access to your information to authorized people only. However, no system is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we can't guarantee 100% security.
How We Share Your Information
We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is private to your account.
We only share your information in these cases: with Stripe when you make a payment, and with legal authorities if we're required to by law or court order.
Your resumes, applications, and profile are completely private. Other users of Click Hired cannot access or see your information. We will never make your data publicly visible unless you specifically ask us to.
Your Rights
You can ask us for a copy of all the personal data we have about you at any time. You can also download and export your entire profile, all your resumes, and your application history whenever you want through your account settings.
You have the right to delete your account and all your data. When you request deletion, everything is immediately removed from our systems.
If we send you service-related or transactional emails about your account or billing, you can't opt out of those because they're essential to how the service works. But you can manage other communication preferences by contacting us.
California Privacy Rights
If you live in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask whether it's been sold or shared (it hasn't), to delete your personal information, and to opt out of any future sharing. To request these rights, contact us with your request and we'll verify your identity and respond within 45 days.

Children
Click Hired is only for people 18 years and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we find out that someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, we'll immediately delete it and terminate their account.

If there's ever a data breach that affects your personal information, we'll contact you without unreasonable delay. We'll tell you what information was affected and what steps we're taking to fix it.
International Users
Click Hired operates in the United States, so if you're outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using Click Hired, you agree to this transfer and processing.
